You know, I think I will wait to see what others have to say about this. It is indicated that they want PT. That makes me wonder why they haven’t grabbed him yet? Or before this? Did scavengers disappear on the job, maybe kidnapped? If AM owns the ship then all the goodies on it are his? to sell? to trade? Well???:>0.Blessed Be.

“Huskster” and “Payboy” — Nicely done! Perhaps “Screw” can remain unchanged… And Marx quite dislikes the metallic one The antipathy seems deranged But now in this flying magic ship That many and much seem to ride on We’ll watch a ditto-fed movie strip Much as Titanic screened Poseidon =|====/ Level Head Vote for Endtown 2.0 And for Doc Rat, too The Endtown Forum Charter member of the Consortium to get Aaron a Tablet

Okay, “Flying Cyborg” is certainly preferrable to garbage can and and salt shaker. And of course in this context meant to help them get context and suspend disbelief. Nice going.

Hmmm…reminds me of Mitch Miller…follow the bouncing ball and sing along (anybody else out there remember Sing Along With Mitch?)Looks like we’re in for a little Lucranian101, an introduction to cheating and stealing. Uhhhhh, what happens when these guys find out they’ve been cheated and want their ship back? Not to mention AM’s head. Looks like a potential Friday cliffhanger in the making.“Ooh baby, talk dirty to me, I wanna hear about…….junk bonds. Yeah. Junk bonds. Ooooh, sounds so good……”

The Ball is going.. somewhere. Must be somewhere out of our sight unless it bounces back on someone. Wally and Holly notice but Petey is all wrapped up in being indignant. Not that I would blame him.

What hath DADOF3 wrought with his “financial erotica” samples? Now I’ll never think of the FOX Business Channel quite the same, for reasons both obvious and unexplainable without being censored (unless it’s during an OWS rally).

Guilty, I like that. They ARE good story tellers however. But they aren’t telling true stories. I suggest they rename themselves the fox news/business funnies network.Anyone that puts down the POTUS Every hour of the day is nutty. I know some people don’t like him, but he is Never Always wrong.

Financial erotica, where pennies are penes, nickels are nipples, and quarters are hindquarters.…Only today did it occur to me that Lucranians should know better than to deal with a Marx.

Could we leave the real world out of this space, please? We come together here to appreciate and celebrate the things we have in common: namely Aaron’s wonderful artwork and storylines. The neatest thing is that Aaron’s talent has attracted admirers from all corners of the political spectrum. But I suspect that great potential exists for turmoil and division if we start down the path where we start bringing our real world differences to this marvelous forum. There are plenty of political cartoons out there if you enjoy that sort of discussion. Personally, I look at this conversation as a sort of oasis away from all the shouting that seems so prevalent everywhere else. I would encourage everyone to at least consider this. Any thoughts?

I’ll send you the link too. You’ll enjoy it. My father-inlaw was an Ensign in WWII, my Dad a Master Sargeant in the US Army. I myself wanted to join the Air Force and become a pilot…but back then girls/women were not allowed. Well, anywho here is the link.http://fliiby.com/file/373775/3gnlvc4uhr.html

Just a note: I’ve been following the situation on Wikipedia and they seem determined to drop the Endtown article. They are raising nitpicking to new heights. Someone mentioned that Endtown had been nominated for the 2012 Ursa Major Award, which Wikipedia quickly denied. In fact, Endtown has been nominated for the 2011 Ursa Major Award. Nominations for 2012 do not open until the end of the year. I corrected this, but I’m sure they will find some other reason to shoot it down.

To DadOf3, Finder10030, DBig_1Oooh and others:Thank you for your service, friends! And all the others here who’ve served (I thus show where my leaning bends But commendations you deserved!) I think you’re wise here to suggest That politics contemporary Be excluded — that is best Such arguments will make us wary The world of Endtown as it stands Is far removed in many ways From what we face. Through Aaron’s hands We’re entertained, and offer praise We’re from the left, the right, and middle And other places not depicted The strip should not be second-fiddle While mundane slights make us conflicted As an aside, there’s something new Now on the Topside of the Forum A tribute, squarely aimed at you And offered with all due decorum =|====/ Level Head Vote for Endtown 2.0 And for Doc Rat, too The Endtown Forum Charter member of the Consortium to get Aaron a Tablet

Flying cyborg? More like a little Dalek (in anatomy only. I heart Petey). As for the Ditto Ball, “Round and round and round she goes, and what she shows, nobody knows.” Except Aaron! (either), of course :-)

“Absurdly narrowly focused culture”—— well to any outsider any culture they don’t like or respect looks narrow and unrefined, because we define them by their most obvious stereotypes. The average european’s image of America, for example, is of a nation built entirely around driving cars and eating hamburgers.
