Continuing from yesterday, I too have got an email saying the Endtown books are slated to be shipped out, likely today. I should have it in a day or two for me to get them. Likely next day if it routes quick enough. Once they arrive I’ve got the bookplates from Aaron to match up with each volume.

Close enough to the cooler to give it protection if need be, far enough away to avoid getting the cooties from it…

That’s a rather devastating reality check, and deftly illustrated.I haven’t received an email yet concerning my book order. I’ll wait a few days before I get worried.tick.tick.tick.tick.tick….AUGH!!

She wasn’t there when Petey grabbed his friend, so does she really know what’s inside? Maybe she’s wondering, “Is there a ham sandwich, and a couple of brewskies, in there?”

Book progress:Picked up at Jarlidium yesterday. Left Kent, WA facility today.I guess they will hit Alabama on Thursday.

waiting patiently for my books…….

This will probably be the only quiet moment for quite some time. Since Linda now has time to absorb it all, even if it’s just for a moment, maybe she’ll “wake up” and do something. I still believe she’s key in this fight…

Oh, and at times Darkwing Duck and (dare I say it) Howard The Duck. Good Lord, what was George Lucas thinking?

What is in the cooler? I bet that’s driving her nuts. However she doesn’t seem too interested.

It is a head and brain from a Transporter that Petey knew. Petey was a Transporter, at one time, who was rescued and had its brain placed in the robot. Before that, I think, Petey was the boyfriend/lover of Flask before they mutated, was caught by the Topsiders and his erased brain was used as the brain of a transporter.

Thanks for reminding me that she was THERE when he put the brain in. That had slipped my mind. I suppose she will keep it safe since she is not vindictive like Blacky. and yeah I bet she is wishing it was a sandwich and a cold drink!

My books arrived in the mail today. I live less than 100 miles from where they were shipped, so it may take an extra day or two to reach some of you, but have faith: The USPS is faster than most people think.

Anyway, the books are quite nicely put together…Endtownies should enjoy both of them.

Just as an update for anyone still interested, The Jarlidium twitter feed has status updates on the Endtown pre-orders. The first set of pre-orders went out on the 24th, the second on the 26th. Third set today with a vow that the last of the books will ship tomorrow. The final tweet is “This is the week to ship All the Things.” The Next Big Thing is when they get the Endtown shop ordering page set up on amazon, which may happen in a couple weeks.For those of you who are wondering “where is Aaron?”, he’s busy catching up on drawing the strips and doing commissions. So, I’ll take his place and remind everyone that you can still buy the super nifty keen t-shirts from CafePress (link in a previous post). You can also contact Aaron directly to get the last of the mini-comic, buy the originals of the strip, or order a commission (email address can be found in the strip above).
