Or incomplete because she didn’t have a choice of “what” she became. She would be wise not to come running out shouting “here I am” . Unless this is the transport which has Pety???? Is that where it is going. Boy talk about surprises. Blessed Be
Okay, gang.. I came back from the Baltimore con with many new color drawings that I’ll be auctioning off two at a time for the next several weeks over at The Endtown Auction Block. This week’s offerings are a Kokopelli-themed Marx drawing and a new Holly & Wally image that many of you may identify with.. As always, please keep in mind that all proceeds from these auctions help me to continue bringing you Endtown five days a week, every week. I’ll be elaborating within the next few days.. Take care, all..
Uh oh! The party wagon’s arrived! I’m with Crookedwolf! Petey 2B better have had a good reason for running off. She might feel like an incomplete mutant because she retained so much of her humanity. She probably appreciated having a mostly human (at least in terms of proportions) body because it would work better with her lover’s bodytype (and she wouldn’t have to ‘stare him in the knees’ for the rest of her life.) But without him, she’s way taller than most mutants so she’s probably referring to that. Had Petey2b been there, and especially if he reacted well to her transformation, she probably would have accepted her mutation swimmingly.
It was said one time by Wesley. Pain is life. If anyone tells you different they are selling something. I was lost one time behind enemy lines in a lovely country called Viet Nam. I spent three days looking for my unit. I cannot describe the sensation and emotions I went through. All I knew was to get over being left behind and SURVIVE. That last panel struck home.
Personal choice. Give up and die. Take up arms continue to fight and die. On your feet or on your knees. It is your choice. Go back to Wally, Holly and Linda after the rocket was downed and they were surrounded. Wally, Holly, and Linda chose to go down fighting knowing they had no chance. I read an article about surrendering. You know more soldiers died as prisoners than in combat. Think about the guy who cut off his hand to survive. When pushed to survive you may be surprized at what you would do. Just saying.
Poor Blackie, she didn’t even get to show him the new her. Poor Petey, they must have thought he had capture a topsider and hauled him off to where ever..
I haven’t posted a in a few days, my computer has been acting up.
@SapphireDragon Studios & Perceptor3That comment reminds me of a short story “Seeds” that I had read long ago. It was said to a psychologist that one of his troubled female patients “needed a lover.” The psychologist sort of agreed, but suggested that she needed someone to love her not just do the horizontal bop with her. She really needed someone to play Holly to her Wally.
Its a pity that Flask never found the courage to tell Petey who he was and what he really meant to her. The bot may not have had the desired equipment, but I suspect that a few hugs and some warm words from him could have done for Flask what Holly’s love did for Wally.

Flask: “Excuse me, guys, but I’d like to hand in my resignation now. Any way I can get my Topsider membership fee back?”

Interesting. Flask feels she is an “incomplete” mutant. Maybe because she volunteered to be one?

Incomplete? Flask has become a sexy, busty, feisty, humanoid cat girl. Now who on earth could ever want someone like that? ; )
