What is "right "is practiced thousand of ways by millions of different thoughts, different customs, different wants and different not wants. The confusion here is he put his foot in it. And can’t get it out. Blessed Be

So it looks like the High Council is about to intervene. They can issue orders…but will anyone obey them?

Oh, hey, the Shadowy Council of People Who Sit in Poorly-Lit Rooms and Rule Endtown are calling into the trial. That makes sense, being that they’re Judge & Jury.

Jake’s been quiet since I guess he’s sick of the farce. There’s no reason to speak since he could see the writing on the wall much sooner than Allgood.

I do love how we were introduced to Jake in an almost villainous role, but now we’re seeing him at least trying to be heroic, making him more faceted and dynamic.

And now the SCREW turns tighter. This was never about what Allgood wanted. It was about what those on and associated with the High Council want which is yet to full disclosed. Allgood just found there is a bigger hidden agenda other than his. Allgood wants to just end the “trial”. Allgood is just wanting to point out maintaining Human values. The High Council has other ideas and a different agenda. The High Council has yet to render a VERDICT.It is not about what Endtown decides. It is about what the High Council decides. After all it is a trial not a hearing. All of Endtown is going to be judged.

On the third panel, the television has the brand name Krupp, it has the same trademark as the Dunerunner that Wally and Holly used in “Joyride”. If Krupp is producing both motor vehicles and consumer electronics, it would have to be pretty large. Possibly a civilian consumer equivalent of Apex.

I wonder what happened to the ditto-based AI from the Opabia Queen. Or maybe we know what it’s been doing but not that it’s been doing it.

@Randy_B, @Nabuquduriuzhur As long as the service is voluntary and that demand doesn’t dictate production quotas, it can be mutually beneficial among the citizens of Endtown. However some products should never be made available like fur coats, aligator shoes, any leather products, etc.

Aircraft-engineerYou know little about rats. They are actually amazingly good swimmers.Waging war on the Rats is not the answer. It is just war. That is what the Council wants is fighting inside the Endtown world. Endtowner on Rat or Endtowner on Endtowner. The Council is powerless except to issue demands and orders. Unless they control some kind of doomsday devise all every one has to do is just say no.And a jackhammer against an assault rifle. Dude! You get one I will keep my rifle. I will engage you at 600 yards. Good luck getting close. The best they would have is slings and stones (good weapons by the way just not really a killing one). But like TSOJ said they hold the high ground and all entrances. You got to get up there to fight them. Endtown was designed to prevent anything topside getting down. The same thing would work in reverse. Really an air powered jackhammer????Not picking just pointing.

“I don’t think the rats would stop her if her dander were truly up.”After spending 3 weeks in confinement with the lights on all the time, she may not be thinking that fast. However, we might see a reaction if the HC keeps talking before Linda gets out of the courtroom.
