Whow. I actually got in line before bedtime. Surely they ( the dead TS) left a transport handy for themselves. The transport might not recognize them and refuse transport.I think it works that way doesn’t it?Blessed Be

To all our little Fambly dealing with bad weather issues, stay safe and warm. If you can, it’s a good time to adopt a shelter animal, and strays can be great, especially the little ones, that need to be indoors, or on patio, carport or garage for the older strays. Yeah, my little cat is mostly under my covers, but usually sticks her head out when she wants her thoughts included in post. If you can stay in, by all means do so, and if you must get out, bundle up and drive, walk, bicycle(what, I this weather?) or however, be safe on slick roads and sidewalks.I left a late message in yesterday’s strip in response to SurfStuff’s comment, and I guess I won’t deploy Li’l Guard Duck to warm up a certain commenter. Besides, it would mess up Level_Head and Godel Fishbreath’s and many other good people’s days also.@All Please Vote .

This just doesn’t feel right to me. There’s a worm in the woodwork somewhere. Yeah I know the 2 topsiders did in two of their brethren but…something doesn’t ring true . I sure hope I’m wrong.

If we’re dead already, how are we still running? And what’s that loud buzzing noise?

I get the feeling that Aaron M, has something to do with these two rouge topsiders. How did they know Holly didn’t have the guts to kill them but, Wally could? They also said, in the beginning, that they were waiting for them. Hmmmm…

Cartoon Lady,One never knows when it comes to Aaron Marx. It may be that his support of Jacob’s power grab was (at least in part) to drive Wally and Holly out of Endtown so that they would meet with Jim and Sarah.I’m guessing that Jim was going on body language when he stated that Holly never killed anyone but he was sure that Wally had. Holly may have been saying one thing but her body language was indicating that she was uncomfortable with what she was doing. He probably figured that freeing himself and then telling her what she needed to kill him would give her brain freeze. Wally, by comparison has given the impression of tough pragmatism, and while stunning two people and tying them up is hardly the same as killing, its indicative of what he’s willing to do.

So when these two get stunned and transformed into anthro’s, won’t their suits read out as dead also? Then their colony will know where they were. And send trackers out.

A surprising phrase, “Their colony”. If that’s true, Jim and Sarah weren’t from the same place. Might there be dissention between Topsider cities as well as in individual cases? Also, if the monitors for the dead Topsiders will send information about them, what indications are there for Jim and Sarah? Has their home colony already considered them dead and stopped looking for them?

Notice they did not destroy Albion West with a nuke. They know it is a way point in mutant travels. What better way to get kills than leave the trail open for unwary travelers. Check back ocassionally to see if anyone is in the area.Remember they did leave the generator and lights on. Curious as to why but I think to draw travelers in.Never give up on a good fishing hole.

Veteran,Me thinks you’re reaching. While a lot of wild and crazy things have happened in this strip, like Aaron Marx and his crazy airship plucking our heroes (and antiheroes) out of danger, but for the most part the story is pretty straight forward. When in doubt I’ll call in Occam’s Razor. Jim could be calling Wally “kid” because he is close to a human child in size or (more likely) because he senses that Wally has less experience with the current situation than he does. Holly was broken during the milk trial and her mental state is very fragile at this time, she probably fainted because she was not able to pull the trigger at someone who openly told her how to kill him. Most importantly, Jim really doesn’t feel like Aaron Marx. Aaron is a whimsical fellow who when asked his name goes on a silly rant about being “Lord Whifflebutter Biscuitboy” before giving his actual name, invites the group to dinner by first yelling “WOMEN AND CHILDREN FIRST!!!” and stops attacking security rats by hypnotizing them to doing silly walks. Jim, by comparison is frighteningly direct, telling Holly to take the gun off stun if she wants to kill him, telling Wally why not killing unless it is absolutely necessary may not be a good idea. He gives the impression of being detached. Besides, could you imagine Aaron Marx snapping somebody’s neck and dropping them into a canal.Third point, while Sarah is not without a fair amount of vavoom, Philomena’s breasts are much bigger.
