Hi, folks! Just thought I’d drop by to say “thank you” to all those who have signed up to become patrons of Endtown via Patreon. THANK YOU! I honestly wasn’t expecting anything like this to happen, but we’ve made it halfway to my first goal in just a couple of days. You’re all awesome!

In answer to Ukiah’s question yesterday, yes, I’d love to make it to another con but whether or not I’ll be able to in the near future is mostly dependent upon how far up the Patreon goal ladder we ultimately climb. And, yes, there are explanations for everything in Endtown. Expect some to arrive shortly after the Lizard arc concludes.
So is the gas heavier than air, lighter than air or will it just mix evenly with the air?
Hope everyone had a Happy Beethoven’s Birthday. I was planning to put up some links to music, but that did not work out. Voting links are in my profile, just click on my avatar (?!?a ghost) and the links are in my personal description, currently along with some lyrics to a Leonard Cohen song Anyway, Aaron and Jenner need your votes, Doc Rat’s Website is updated and back in business. Thanks for your continued support, and drop by Aaron’s Endtown Patreon Site and at least look around. He has put up some work there that is worth a look see. And if you can participate, step right up. Please Thank you for your consideration JusSayin
The gas isn’t coming In the laundry hole, it’s coming behind Holly. She knows this, maybe, so she is pushing him thru. The canary in the mine was my 1st thought. I had a parakeet and hung him too close to a gas heater that must have been a bit leaky.I’ve lost track of if they are going up or down, but since Jim’s down, it must be coming up. Maybe this is next to the laundry room itself. and like was mentioned, if they get out there and close the door, ait will slow it down. I would take my chances with the lizards rather than Jim and the gas.
Push him Holly! Get yourselves both in that hole NOW. Darwin and Coyoty make good points about the chance of the gas escaping, especially if the hole was recently made. Hmmm shall we irony if true?
Well, well, wherever the laundry chute ends up is going to get gassed too. Our unthinking chumby superrace of lizards have lots to learn about unintended consequences.
I just realized that it may not be so much a toxic gas, considering that it is being used adjacent to living spaces, but a simple displacement gas, perhaps even sented to warn of its use. Enough volume of CO2 or an inert like Argon is still lethal.
Two reasons come to mind to me for the hole in the chute. One would be for control of ventilation to purge the gas when they are done. Two is a point for a bag party for anything flushed out of the wall during the gassing.

Chic noticed first – the canary in a coalmine effect.

There are times when it’s good to be right. There are other times when it’s not. Chic’s breaking even at this point.

Right or wrong, Chic and Holly need to get themselves down that laundry chute STAT!

Good idea the laundry room…..Holly can find a clean apron.Providing she can shove Chic down the hole.

Chic, if this doesn’t convince you to leave with the others, WHAT WILL?

Unless you never want to see your laundry again, that is the worst laundry chute ever. ^^
On the other hand, no laundry at the bottom— maybe there are laundry gnomes down there (getting gassed).

Chic is prone to rejection and rightfully so, but he may have been forgotten by most of the lizards.
