Hey Holly… Rabid much?Looks like someone or something made a decision for Holly.Did Kirbee take it?From this angle I don’t see anyone else from the group, are the dittoes hiding them?Or were they all just constructs of the imagination all along?Or are things are about to get……..Really weird?

    Rabid rabbit? Ravin’ Rabbids?

Dittos hiding Clive was my first thought, but that somehow seems too simple.

I guess the Dittos heard the “He’s invisible” reasoning from Holly and made it invalid, to help Wally.Clever Dittos making the reasonable choice. Freaking emotions always getting in the way.

Either Wally is still in his dream and hasn’t woken up yet, or the dittos have figured it’s time for a little subconscious theater.

Perhaps they picked up the decoy Clive, and the topsiders picked up the real Clive?

So maybe that “Clive” was just a ditto construct, made to get them away from the topsiders? The dittos do appear to exhibit some collective intelligence…

Well, this should be interesting, especially since Kirby and Chico were at least 20 feet away, it wasn’t like it was stolen, right out of Holly’s gripped fingers.

I think Kirby took him. Monday she was putting Chic down as she was walking behind Holly. That’s my guess and I’m sticking with it till Friday!

Good one, Aaron! Last strip, panel 3, Holly is setting down Clive while Kirby swings her head to notice. Panel 4, Kirby sets Chic down. I think Kirby has decided to save Clive and the group at the same time by taking Clive away on her own.

Maybe the dittos are about to give us a full-scale flashback, like Sparkplug’s, or Wally’s. Maybe Kirbee took Clive and Chic and Irving. Maybe I have no idea.

It seemed like Kirbee was putting Chic down to get involved, the two seem to have been arguing for some time, so Kirbee would have had time to pick up Clive and leave. Conveniently, Wally isn’t looking at Holly, so he might not have noticed the tall lizard girl sneak in and sneak away.My guess is that Kirbee is going to take Clive far away until she is not protected by dittos and return him to his people. It would be interesting if they later ran into her as a PT.

Is there a panel missing? I thought Holly was holding Clive. And Kirbster and Chic were several feet away, in the background. So was Holly imagining she was holding Clive? Or is she now imagining she is NOT holding Clive?

In Monday’s strip, Holly is putting Clive on the ground in panel 3 in order to argue with Wally. Whatever happened to Clive was probably faster than anything Chic or Kirbee could have pulled off. If it had been Topsiders with an anti-grav ray, Chic or Kirbee would have seen it. So, this is probably the work of dittos.

We don’t know how much time elapsed in story between Holly’s putting Clive down in the last panel of Monday’s strip and the first panel of today’s strip. It could have been a few seconds or possibly 30 minutes. Wally has good reasons for wanting to leave Clive and Holly is emotionally attached to Clive so the argument could easily last for an hour or two.I think its entirely possible that Kirbee and Chic decided that they needed to do something else with Clive and slipped off with him while Wally and Holly were arguing. That said, this could be another ditto trick.

Either Kirbee has made the decision to pick up Clive and carry him with her, or Holly has mastered the mind-meld with the dittos and they’re responding to her wishes.

A few days ago, didn’t Wally say something about that the dittoes can’t hide sound?.Perhaps the Topsiders have heard and located Wally and Holly – the only two making sounds..Of course, that means, Holly and Wally have been removed from the situation..From now on, it’s just Kirbee and Chic…

Kirbee could have absently picked Clive up to look at him or because she was bored, and the next strip may have Holly tearing into her for touching him.

From what I’ve seen of her, Kirbee is not stupid per se, she just takes things at face value, and expects that what people she trusts tell her to be the truth. That trait is coupled with an inherently air-headed nature, but she’s just been through one heck of a major trauma with her whole colony — everyone she’s ever known, and all of their children-to-be — getting wiped out, not to mention a grievous amount of pain, having her tail burned / crushed and then ripped off. She is very probably not really the same Kirbee that she used to be. I’m looking forward to the continuing evolution of her character.

Our 1st view of Holly was on April 11, 2011. While her ears are on backwards, like everbody else’s ears are on backwards, they looked unmistakeably mousy-like. Since that time Wally has gotten much cuter, and Holly is closer to his size now.

My two cents, one would be either the dittos did it and are about to give her a psychological trip as they tend to do trying to help people. The second would be on Chic then we’ll see if Holly chases down and in this state possibly hurts an actual child over her surrogate one.
