That’s one way to get away from the Buddibombs quickly. The whole top of the building may disappear so they will not be there. But how do they make a safe landing at the bottom? Could this be the gateway to Endtown???
Such chaos. At least the kitchen staff aren’t going down without a fight.
I wonder if Apex ever considered the outcome of dozens of bombs in sympathetic detonation, or were they only considering a “one threat one bomb” scenario.
Well, whether it’s a trash chute or a dumb waiter, any direction down away from all those buddibombs is a good direction. I hope it’s a fairly long drop because the backwash of those collective explosions is going to be huge. I notice the cook’s assistant with the ladle seems to be hitting BBs away from him. Neither he or the human cook with the knives have started to mutate, so they may be immunes. Not that that will matter much when those BBs go off.
Between Doc & Holly dodging Buddibombs with a monstrous, mutated chef attacking and being attacked by his co-workers for added action…this is one chaotic kitchen! I’m hoping that’s a laundry chute Doc & Holly leapt into. It’s great how Aaron illustrates this chaotic scene playing itself out in 4 panels.
Remember when Holly and Chic had to use the laundry chute to escape the poison gas in Lizardville, followed by the climb up to get away from the fire? That had to bring back memories…
So, mega confused here, 1) is the doc now ok? I thought he was shot and passed out? (Obviously the vehicle for turning him into an animal and not a monster, to be unconscious, but now hes running as if he wasnt shot!)2) Is Wally and the others still watching all this? We usually see them in the background somewhere.3) I thought Molly turned into a mouse after the aftermash of the end of the world?
Sparkplug cursed the dittos for torturing him with flashbacks of his traumas. Like the dittos are doing with Holly here. Either he was mistaking therapy for torture, or Wally and gang are mistaking torture for therapy. Or it could be both. Sparkplug didn’t have someone who cared for him to pull him out of it like Holly does, though.
I just notice 3 different spellings of chute, shoot, andshoote. No clue as to which one or however many are correct or regional . gunny sack, burlap bag and, tote sack. never knew which of them was right or if they are all regional.

Hopefully something soft will break their fall, and not their bodies.
Agreed, Stormwing, that is A LOT of Buddibombs, and when they go off, the dumbwaiter’s updraft won’t affect Holly or Doc.

Either that shaft is the Garbage shoot or the “dumb waiter” is hydraulic. I say it is the garbage shoot and they should land in a dumpster.
