I wonder whether Aaron has considered crossover characters from other comics. The Hog of Steel would be a great addition here, not the least because he is a mutant of sorts, himself.
Walt was the laid-back mayor, but then the Milk Trial made him step up and become the Mayor Endtown needs. I remember what happened when someone threw a rock at him. Let’s see how he reacts to this…
The bad guys could be foxes. Cats would not likely to poof their tails over a chase.I would like to see Walt’s backstory, and would like Wally and Kirby to come back to EndTown. They could help Doc understand better but being eye witnesses to all of it. The part they saw being much more than the little snippet Doc saw.I guess they don’t know what happen, What Holly did before the fake Holly showed up at the end...Does it bother you as much as it does me that no pictures and no links are able to be used? They must have had A LOT of Spam to take all that away from us. I have a hard time copying long strings of numbers and letters and make mistakes so often that I give up for the most part.

My bombshell thought for the new year: Aaron Marx is a fox, and he has been whenever we see him.
.
People have wondered why Marx hasn’t mutated, and thought he was an immune like Albert or from a different reality like the Lucranians, but we saw a Marx-like fox in Holly’s flashback. It seems too much of a coincidence and convenience that Marx-like fox would appear like a guardian angel and direct Doc and Holly to safety, unless it was Marx. I don’t think Holly’s subconscious would have made him up, and Doc confirmed the account was accurate, so Marx did apparently turn into a fox. And he didn’t get better.
.
When Marx was introduced, it was after he had won the Opabinia Queen in a card game, as well as a population of dittos. If he were a fox at the time, he could have used the dittos to appear human to everyone, including us. Holly was one of the first people to meet him, and she would have recognized him as the fox who saved her and Doc. He never dropped the illusion after that, even when alone, not just because Holly could still be watching, but because WE are watching.
.
Marx knows Endtown is being watched by other realities, and said that this version was one of his favorites, so he’d be aware that he was being watched as well. He’d also probably be aware we’d eventually learn he did mutate, and remains disguised to avoid spoilers.
Now we see if Walt won the election. Even if he didn’t we see what happens when you mess with a bear. (Too bad Walt isn’t a female bear. Noone gets between a bear and her cubs…)
Last Wednesday, when we first met them, they were definitely two different species; one short muzzled and cat-like and the other long nosed and canine.

Right in front of Walt? Makes me think Jacob must have won the election… not good. ;-(

Stop fishing, and go get them!

Who is Walt? As drawn, he looks fairly harmless. The Jacob Jackrabbit reference (DADOF3) changes that impression, obviously…

Methinks a pair of evildoers are about to get their comeuppance.

To the commentator the other day who said that he (she?) misses Wally and Kirbee: Amen to that!

So, are there feral fish in the waterways for Walt to catch?

But as mayor Walt was a total wimp.

The wolve’s snouts look shorter today — they look more like cats.

This new story takes me back to my childhood. I needed someone to save me back then, too…

A familiar face appears. Wonder if Walt ever came to terms with the fish and the worm (whose names escape me)…

Can I get a witness? Hopefully this will explain all the missing Porcine people. Hope we haven’t seen the last of Kirby and Wally.
