When the scene pulls out for a long view in the last panel, we see ghostly writing in the side of the cliff!

La Playa Fantasma has a nice ring

Almost, almost – if you blow up the first panel and stare at it for awhile, you can almost see faces? bodies? in the surf. Actually quite creepy.

Thank heavens he didn’t say Botany Bay…….then we would the banshee is really William Shatner…..KHAN!!!!!!!!!

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet and prick your finger.

Kind of looks like huge footprints down there in the third panel.

Chick may prove to be much more useful to them in an unlikely way. Unlike his companions birds have excellent color vision, some even have superior color vision to humans. Think of how useful that could be to a quest. Most likely that never occurred to any one of them.
