I’m not going over it with a magnifying glass, but that wall is not drawn by cut and paste or tiling. There are no matching sections. Aaron must have hand drawn it.
We’re definitely seeing more “Cardoodle Wally” than “Endtown Wally” at the moment. When they leave Ravenscroft’s rooms I’m hoping more memories will surface for Wally and he’ll be more like his old self.
Wally could be mopey sometimes, true, but I’m uncertain if I like this new happy-go-lucky Wally with the cavalier attitude about everything.
Since Wally’s “essence” was merged with the Cardoodle Cracked Cat, the combination is slowly working towards integration. Right now it is mostly Cracked Cat. I am interested in watching for flashes of “Wally.” Also intrigued.
Someone forgot that place was about to get the 1/0 treatment. I’m sure he’ll remember when he hears the earth-shattering kaboom… the space-imploding crunch I mean.
Cracky/Wally apparently isn’t very genre-aware to make a comment that so tempts fate. It’s pretty likely that the applicable cliche will be “Out of the frying pan, into the fire”. Good luck, guys!
I wonder if “All’s Well That Ends Well” was some kind of popular catchphrase at the end of the Cardoodle stories, sort of like “That’s All Folks”. So it would be an artifact of Cracky’s that is in Wacky’s head. Nice call on the name “Wacky” by the way. :-)
There’s enough of old Wally to know they’re “home” at Eden; if they have arrived in a “timey-wimey” fashion some days before the crunch, will they find Kirby & Chic…and how will Wally react to being squeezed by a giant reptile?
A thought just occurred to me. Could this be Eden rebuilt after the collapse of reality? No longer linked by a dangerous knot in said reality, but placed in the Endtown world along with the survivors the multiple Marxes rescued. A new version of Endtown as it were.
Marx did say RUN right before the gate sucked then through. So I think we are still “stop time” but soon to be real time (like the Cardoodle world). Me thinks we are the “time” right as Marc is walking to the park bench in the park. So to find the others, they would need to run to the beach and then “jump, or slide” again.( I enjoyed the TV show “Sliders” when I got to see it)
An old song (well not that old) comes to mind. Zebra…”Who’s Behind the Door.” Go open the door Cracky….see what is on the other side…Who’s behind the door….

Wally, do you hear a fat woman singing? No, I didn’t think so. It’s not over, dude!

Also, you might want to check the nearest window to see if there are a zillion waterspouts out on the ocean…

That was fast. Maybe Aaron has a reserve supply to keep us riveted while he works ahead.

Don’t Say That! Between and lingering Cardoodle logic in Cracky and the Universe in general you are calling down disaster for sure.

Yesterday, the camera view shifted to one of the other walls while the characters were moving around. That’s why the gate wall wasn’t seen.

That happy go lucky attitude is new in Wally. He really is 75% cardoodle now. Personally I’m happy about that.
He was getting a little too mopey before, even if he had reason to be so…

…this is not the Wally we know…
…has he snapped?…
… A doppelganger?…
…seeing Wally this happy makes me sad…

If I recall right—-it’s been so long—-there’ve been some changes ’round there since they were there last.

There are two things missing:
Duffy’s haint repelling eye
Wally’s signature left eye twitch
Aaron leaves out no detail!!

When we last left “home” it was in the process of collapsing. Hence Aaron’s instructions to RUN!

hopefully time is still paused because from what I remember this place was about to be sucked into a subspace butt hole or something…
