Don’t you know why they took the hooks out of the stalls? A thief runs in, reaches over the tops of the doors and grabs all the handbags, then she runs out before anybody can come out of the stalls and get a look at her. It’s hard to catch the thief because nobody sees her face, only her arm.

Every bathroom I’ve been in has a hook. Some of them have a fold down shelf and the hook on the side of the stall.
