I’d say the “Optimistic Pessimist” is one who is absolutely positive things are going to get worse.
I have a pessimistic view on optimism….
I’m an optimistic pessimist…I’m POSITIVE things are going to get worse.
I’m of mixed opinions about her statement. But as long as her being happy isn’t at the expense of others, I’m okay with it. And being happy despite the opinions of others is also good.
They told me “Cheer up. Things could be worse!” So, I cheered up…and things got worse.
