I thought they were going someplace else with this, in classic comic strip misdirection style. I have no use for Trump, but this installment was not particularly funny.
I’ve heard from so many folks my age (forty-mumble) that they can no longer talk with their parents about politics because the parents stay home all day watching Fox News and getting mired in whatever new conspiracy theory the GOP is peddling. (Some people call it “Fox Geezer Syndrome.”) I’m lucky in that respect … my mom, a former Goldwater Girl, is now fiercely liberal, while my dad, while conservative, has no use for Trump’s idiocies.

Typical liberal. Blaming self-imposed problems on other people.
