So true……..and SO sad!!
Why do you see pop cans and candy wrappers out on trails? They had to drag it in, why not drag it out?
It’s like…”I’m going to take a 3-mile trek into the woods so I can dump my garbage!” Geesh!!!!!!!!!!
Well, you know, I also see quite a few plastic water bottles whenever I go anywhere. I also see a lot of juice bottles and juice boxes tossed carelessly. I visit quite a few of the National Historic places in the PA/NJ/DE/MD/VA area and nothing ticks me off more than seeing trash left behind. Many of these places are battlefields upon which men gave their lives to gain America’s freedom from the British, and to gain freedom for slaves in America and to me it’s profane to dishonor those places and those men in that way. My lady friend thinks I’m a crazy person because I pick up trash whenever I see it while she’s setting up her photos (she’s an erstwhile professional photog/artist), but she also knows how I feel about that.

Why should someone clutter their nice clean car interior when there’s a whole world to litter?

Logically, it is lighter carrying stuff out after you have emptied it too.
She’s got a good point there. Junk-food addicts and smokers and coffee drinkers leave the most litter. Healthy eaters do not.

Why do you always see one shoe by the side of the road?

Saucy, because someone is always just waiting for the other shoe to drop (whatever that old saying means).
