Anyone seen or heard Patton Oswald’s stand up routine about his toddler daughter? The little girl loves the Lion King especially the character Rafiki the Baboon. They are in a Starbucks snacking and Patton doesn’t notice when a bald, white bearded, very elderly black gentleman sits next to them. What transpires makes for a great routine. Some may see this as racist, but trust me it is not, just a reflection of child like innocence and societies reaction to it.
I was having my haircut a week after Christmas and an elderly, somewhat overweight man with a full white beard came in for a shave. He told the Barber, “putting Santa away until next winter.”
