I am not sure if there is an age you wake up and realize you are old. I feel so old ever since my late loving wife died. I used to agree that age is just a number, now not so much. I have aged way more than the calendar says in the last year.
There are advantages to getting older. I was happy to hit an age of invisibility. Different focuses as we age, but it seems this woman lives in a bubble and is very much not self-aware.
Is this the little boy I carried? Is this the little girl at play? I don’t remember growing older? When did they? Sunrise. Sunset. From Fiddler on The Roof. ;-)
