We’ve discovered that there is more to life than increasing its speed.

With the price of gas, I’ve noticed people are driving slower.

I do the majority of shopping for food at a grocery store that gives .10 cents off a gallon of gas according to how much I spend there each month. it really helps when i fill up since i can’t afford a fuel efficient vehicle.

Frankly, I think it’s a reflexes thing . . . back when I was doing shift work, there were some days I was so tired and fuzzy-brained but still had to do an errand. I noticed I was driving much slower on those days (probably irritating the heck out of other drivers). BTW, I was in my 20s.

I drive the speed limit, now anyway. Lots of people passing me. I also make complete stops at stop signs so deal with it tailgaters.

As a retiree I can relate to that. When I was younger I also noticed that women tended to be better drivers, not speeding and weaving in and out of traffic to get one car further ahead. Now they drive like the men.

Losing my once sharp far-sightedness, has slowed me down, but it is speed limit down, not slower than it.

OK, now explain the turn signal on all the time.

That appears to be the rule in Florida! ;-)

When I am driving, I have the sunroof open, the stereo playing full blast, so why would I be in a hurry to get anywhere?

I wish they would do the speed limit, instead of 20 mph under!
