Very good comment, young lady!

My youngest daughter tells me I am beautiful all the time and I don’t feel anything but old and creaky.

My oldest great-granddaughter (9) told me that I am quite pretty for an old lady.

And full of grace.

Just last week my husband was applying my hair color to my roots. My granddaughter asked why. I told her it was to make me pretty. She responded, “But you’re already pretty.” I will remember that moment for a long time!

So we now have a benchmark on the age spread from Flo to Ruthie. Interesting age gap for best friends.

My second wife was 24 years older than I. Her best friend had gone to high school with her two daughters. She was an amazing woman who was a very cute “college girl” of 65 when I met her. She became a Couples and Family psychotherapist at the age of 75. Whenever I think I might be too old for something, I look back on the ten years we had together.
