Here in New England, we really don’t have such seasons as much as phases: Ice, mud, bugs, and hunters. There is a two week +/- span of time in Octobre (right now!) that none of the above are an issue (sometimes, it rains). Yes, my fave time of year as well : )

Autumn is pretty, but also depressing, because it means winter is coming. Not my favorite season at all…
