They are pretty bland. Add some mayo… or chocolate syrup.

My Grandma’s favorite poem was “I eat my peas with honey, I’ve done it all of my life, it makes the peas taste funny, but it keeps them on my knife.”

Same. Tho’ the version I learned said “It may look very funny,” Love lil doggerel things like this one.

Dump then on the ground. Then you will have peas on Earth.

If you have a dog, they may eat your peas for you.

We had a table with steel tube legs. We moved and Mom found several years of peas in them.

Mix them with your mashed potatoes, and eat them that way :)

When I was little we only had canned peas, which I didn’t care for. Frozen peas were a whole different ball game; they’re my favorite vegetable. (Fresh, too, on the few occasions I’ve had them.) But I agree there’s no point in trying to force people of any age to eat foods they hate just because you like them.

I love peas also snow peas raw, it’s lima beans that make me gag.
