I hate big gatherings. People talk about stuff that I have no knowledge of or interest in. Unfortunately, I have to attend two weddings this yes, sigh!
I don’t like groups of more than 6 or 8, even when I know everybody. 4 is better, 2 is perfect, and just me is sublime, lol. When I worked at a bigger company, I would duck the annual Thanksgiving feast. All of those people made the back of my neck squinch. I’m getting twitchy just thinking about it…
“Anti-social” is completely different from people who are socially uncomfortable. The term antisocial has to do with people who have an attitude about laws etc don’t refer to them.
“Selectively social” – I’ll use that. My daughter who is on the Autism Spectrum already uses “too peopley”. But there are some things we go to if the right people are there.

I like that! “Selectively Social”! That’s what I am; I’m not antisocial, I’m selectively social!!!

After talking to customers at the hair salon all day, I can understand why she wants to be socially selective during her “down” time.
