Thankfully my crackling mostly fixed itself. Made my back hurt from getting into bed one time. Weeks worth of mega aspirin and acetaminophen barely fazed it. Crept into bed one night, went to sleep. Woke up for a relief moment, laid back down, turned over too fast and CRACK! I felt it and heard it move! Realignment successful!
I always slept on my side but learn that on your back is better. It took a week to learn to sleep on my back. Now I can sleep through the night on my back, most of the time and it really does make a difference.

It’s not just my cereal that does the crackling.
