Exactly. How can animals survive without humans? Oops… I’ve just been told that animals probably won’t miss humans much…

Best riff ever on the “When the Rapture comes, can I have your Porsche?” meme.

    Luke 17:34-37

34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. 35 Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.” 37 “Where, Lord?” they asked. He replied, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.”

There are more. Open to interpretation.

At least the writers were smart enough not to give a definite time. So many others are fools and idiots to do so since they all invariably fail.

Change – the only constant. All things end. Ours is probably sooner than we can fathom. Hope the next species, which crawls to the top of the pile, does a better job for their offspring. From the great Nothingness we came and will return. If mythical beings give you comfort – so be it. Personally I find this brief thing called life quite amazing and beautiful. To lay on your back looking into the void from some dark location is a spiritual experience – the connective-ness, the consciousness, of it all is incredibly inspiring – no controlling, power-mad religions necessary. Just be kind.
