Had a flat on a country road. As I started trying to find the jack, a nice guy stopped and offered to help. He soon discovered that the reason for the flat was a bullet hole in the tire. At that point we both looked around but couldn’t see any shooter. He finished changing that tire in record time.

I worked in the tire business for 20 years and I hated getting a flat as much as anyone
In the shop we had floor jacks and air powered tools for taking off the lug nuts and it’s all relatively easy
Switching out a spare at the roadside with the lousy tools that come with the car is never fun
