Garrick works, but why not Rary? Which reminds me of the story of the little fat Irish boy named Rary who was a nasty hellion, pestering everyone, vandalizing things and playing pranks on the villagers. Finally they got fed up, caught him and tied him up. They rolled him over to the edge of a cliff and told him that if he didn’t straighten up, they were going to tip him over the cliff. He looked down and said “It’s a long way to tip a Rary.”
His name is Gary Rick (whatever his last name). How is that much different from Louisa Mae, Mary Ann, Anna Louisa? to name a few. Seems a weird gender/culture thing.
