I love jigsaw puzzles. They’re very absorbing. I did a mystery puzzle where you have no idea what the image is and when you’re done, the clues to the mystery are in the image. Challenging, but I think more challenging is the one my sone gave me that the image is shown, but the actual puzzle differs somewhat. Lots of small differences. I think that’s trickier than not knowing the image, at all.

Hard to imagine but one thing about getting old is you can say things like; “I haven’t done a jigsaw puzzle in forty years.”

My grandfather used to do that. Then he would use watercolors to make the pieces match.
