Elizabeth: I'm glad you like Gary and Vivian, Mom. They've been so good to me. Elly: When we were visiting them and those kids were howling outside the window...it sent chills up my spine! Elizabeth: We do hear real wolves sometimes - but, they don't come into town. In the springtime, we'll watch for bears - but nobody's been hurt by a bear here in years. Elly: You've never been threatened by a wild animal? Elizabeth: Only at the Spruce Narrows Bar on a Saturday night!
