No eye at all in panel one. Oh, oh…Connie has that look in her eye. No Connie! Don’t do it!

Does anyone remember if this actually leads some where for Connie (at least for a little while)?

Connie dates him for a while but it does not end well.

Maybe Connie would love to be a flirtatious attraction with Elly’s brother.

wish something like this would happen to me.

Well I wont say its a disaster. But what will happen if history repeats itself is this….

Spoiler Warning. Maybe..

Phil will be introduced to Connie. They will go on a few dates till the new year, then Phil will go back home. Connie will be so enamored by him that she will want to see him again. She’ll go up to where he lives and see him in a club playing. He’ll be polite but give her the brush off. In the meantime Lawrence will stay with the Pattersons and break his leg, making Connie feel ashamed. That will be that until summer, when she dates John’s friend Ted. She starts changing herself for him, but in the end she dumps him when he cheats on her with his secretary. That in itself is another story.
