this woman can cook, I make almost all our baked goods (bread included) and just about everything from “scratch” even cakes and cookies ( we do usually purchase ice cream). No prepared foods for us. Started because of food allergies, have found some recipes quick & easy enough to prep as fast if not faster than most “pre-packaged” meals and very much healthier! Love to cook!!!
As long as someone will do the chopping, I’m happy to cook and think it tastes a lot better anyway. The only thing that I won’t attempt is pie crust. Those refrigerated ones rock.
Unbelievable the number of spammers in this strip today.
I Wish G Comics would do something to get rid of them.
Comics.com doesn’t have this c**p..
Keep flagging them anyway. Otherwise they win.
Sheesh… I threw enough flags to feel like NFL Ref Ed Hochuli! Mrs. Goaler is a PROFESSIONAL shopper, with two degrees in Home Economics; She shops, I “pick up stuff”. We both cook darned well – once I learned how to cook Italian food without garlic (Mrs. Goaler is allergic to same), no problemo!
I feel worse for Farley than I do anyone else. At least those with 2 legs and opposable thumbs are completely capable of finding something else other than gross-smelling swill to eat. Poor Farley is at the mercy of whatever the people of the household decide to feed him.
11 hours ago, oish had flagged 6 spammers. at 9:30 EST i flagged 3 more spammers, including a message 13 hours old. clearly the spammers are starting to overwhelm the site. it would be too bad if we could no longer comment because of this trash being put here so constantly. i hope it won’t come to that.
I also love cooking, and if I do say so myself, I’m a great cook. Now that we found out that my husband has kidney disease cooking is a lot harder and not as satisfying. Thank the Lord for the internet tho. Many sites that help you get a menu going no matter what the diet restrictions are.

They DO remove the flagged spam (except on weekends) but the spammers are relentless. They keep returning

There were only 2 for me to flag, so they must have removed some.

One of the greatest tragedies in the world would be a garlic allergy. Italian cooking without garlic is as exciting as driving a V*lv*.

Never feed your dog people scraps. Only feed them Vet recommmended dog food.
The same goes for cats.
