Why do people who haven’t exercised in years — if ever — always insist on going full steam ahead the very first day instead of starting out slowly and working their way up to full steam ahead? How can they not realize how taxing something like that can be on every bone/muscle in their body at best and on their heart at worst when it comes to doing something that their bodies just aren’t used to?

Why does Elle’s friend look all ‘bright-eyed and bushy-tailed’ and Elle look like ‘such a lump’?

You have to build up to these things slowly. Looks like Elly overdid it for her first day.

Also, take glutamine right after exercising. It helps muscles recover.
