Oh, it had to be the pub. (Ayre Uygur from yesterday: I’m a dude from the United States! Did you even bother to look at my GoComics profile? I shows my description and previous comic comments.)

howtheduck—There is no “moral to this story” — it’s a comic strip – ergo, it’s a joke.I guess you get a little cranky when you stay up late.

@howtheduck—-I am pretty sure the agreement would have been given before the meeting ended, & before the pub visit. If you had read yesterdays comment byNight-Gaunt49 who shows Lynn’s Notes everyday, It said she LOVES yard sales, & so did her mother.

I’m surprised no one commented on the “dirt” that suddenly appeared on Elly’s nose. (yes, I know it’s supposed to show that she’s inebriated, but to me it looks like dirt!)

Not for granted, for Grant’s. Malt does more than Milton can to justify woman’s ways to man, or other women. (Apologies to Housman).

Yes, libraries are still alive and well. Our library in Cincinnati, Oh. just received a major national award for being a good library system. woohoo! Her reluctance to host the yard sale is very understandable, since she’ll probably have to do most of the work. lol

I imagine that Elly’s nose looks dirty because lots of papers print the comics in black and white, and that’s the only way Lynn could show the red nose. (It really redded up in a hurry to illustrate the punch [no pun intended] line, didn’t it?) BTW, the Sunday NY Times showed a photo identifying a fellow as having a “red tie,” and the photo was in black and white :-D.

On a serious note, I’d like to recommend that you good folks check out Darrin Bell’s “Candorville” today, along with the comments. Very moving and inspiring.

In other word they got her so plastered in the morning she will not remember any thing about any yard sell.
