No, John, I think you are wrong. Autumn isn’t a mid-life crisis. Actually, IMO, Autumn is a gorgeous season, the last flowering of year, something not to be feared. Now, Winter on the other hand… ;)

The colorist probably has so many strips to do, he or she can’t take time to read them.Of course, the falling leaves should give them a hint.

The trees around here are predominately maple, and these days turn the whole daylight golden.

The problem with Beautiful Fall is that she is always followed by her a ugly Sister Winter.

The leaves are also green at the FBOFW website, where you can actually ask about it.

Here in the ’Hocking Hills" of south central Ohio, the sycamore leaves are falling green, huge 12 and 14 inches wide. Some of the oaks are also green and found one buckeye leaf still green. Maybe the colorist lives here.

When I lived in northern NYS, I never liked fall because I knew what was coming! Now that I live in S. America, I miss the fall colors. So when I visit the US, I do so in the fall and go back south before it gets too cold!
