It does happen. That one usually is an exercise in cleaning up. Where the older sibling gets in trouble with us is with sharpie on the walls or wanton destruction like pulling curtains out of the wall or jumping off of tall pieces of furniture.
It probably shouldn’t be as surprising as it is, how often the older siblings, Michael’s age, who have “known better” for many years, do exactly what he does and join in.
Those snowflakes are looking pretty crummy. I blame Elly for her lack of intense artistic instruction to her children. Poor kids will end up being a burden on society.
The typical response of any parent when coming home to find a mess left behind where that parent is expected to fix a meal is not joy. It is usually a sharp reminder to those who made the mess that they need to clean up behind themselves if they want dinner at a reasonable hour.-It’s great to encourage kids to be creative. It’s also great to remind them that they still need to clean up afterwards. Otherwise, when they leave home and live on their own, they’ll end up in a cockroach-infested mess, and people like you will attribute that to lack of parental teaching about cleanliness…

Since we see a paper snowflake next to Lizzie, maybe Michael’s trying to make one.

…and of course Michael, being the older sibling, will get all the blame. (And Elizabeth will probably be pointing her finger at him.)

Michael instead of telling on your sister who is not bugging you and having fun, like you are now, join her and be creative.
