My 88 year old father (on oxygen & using a walker) was out until 3 am New Years Eve with his girlfriend. There may be snow on the roof, but there just may be a fire still burning.

I’m pretty sure that’s grandma with that bun on her head.

    Lynn’s Notes:

Sometimes the strip was confining. I had four panels, maybe 15 seconds a day to tell what became a pretty complicated story. I would have loved to explore Connie’s blossoming relationship with Greg. I wanted to show more, write more, but I didn’t have the time or the space. This meant that readers had to fill in some blanks for themselves! Maybe, with comic strips going to the internet, creators won’t be confined by the “one window a day” method of storytelling that we had in the newspapers.

In other words, Jim, don’t even think about it!

Obviously you know her motives better than she does.

Grandmother was in the Canadian army, she knows what she’s talking about!

Where’s Ellie’s reaction? Her dad, who’s been married for 40 years says “yessir, nothing like a new love affair to get your pulse racing” — any normal child’s reaction would be “Dad, WHAT?!? What do YOU know about new love affairs?? Have you been cheating on Mom???”
