The kid is lucky. Most camps I was familiar with back in the day just sent someone home if they did something like this.

Female counselor on the other side of the girls’ shower wall playing with the body part going into the wall. Mark this Porky’s homage as complete.

He’s going at it all the wrong way. Just “identify as female”! Then he could just walk in any time!

every box, Mikes hand inches more and more into the hut…

She’s not the female he was looking for.

Michael is in no position to argue!

When does he receive the lecture on this is unacceptable behavior? While he is peeling potatoes?

The camp I went to was just boys, the girls didn’t come until the following week AFTER the boys had gone home ! ! !

Lynn’s Notes:

This didn’t happen, of course, but as Farley Mowat liked to say, “If it didn’t happen, it should have.” The buildings at Camp Tillicum were old and in need of repairs, but nothing like this! Kids scoured the walls for knotholes hoping to see into the showers, and when none existed, stories were told anyway. I couldn’t help being a bit jealous of my kids’ camping days at Tillicum. This was a place where great memories–true and false, could be made.

At least they aren’t threatening to tell mom and dad. Uh Oh – word will probably get to Liz and how good is she at keeping secrets?

On a similar note, a friend was telling that at his school someone bored a small hole through the wall between the boys and girls restrooms. One of the girls, curious about the hole, poked a pencil through it! Ouch!

The girls made the hole to escape from the female counselor.

This one time at band camp…

The only ones who can tell Michael’s parents about this are either Michael or the camp director. Anyone else telling Elly and John is a tattletale.
