Our parents may tell us we’re beautiful, pretty, handsome, etc. but we know they’re prejudiced and we only believe what friends and the general public tell us.
“Cheer up – things could be worse” I cheered up, and sure enough, things got worse. ALWAYS have a smile on your face – then everyone else wonders what you’re up to!
Is it just me or do others think that some of the “Survivor” women are more attractive when they are in the contest than when they get voted off and go to the area where they go after being voted off and put on makeup.
Elly needs to sit down and ask Elizabeth what is the matter, Its because Elizabeth is shy and doesn’t make friends easily. They could come up with some solutions. SighI wish my mother had done this. My husband had to put me in therapy for me to realize that nothing was my fault, I looked perfectly fine, and if no one liked me , who cares, Their loss. Only then did I start to make friends and repair my self-esteem!
Watching a child’s physical development is the most amazing thing ever. Funny too. One year the ears are to big. The next their legs seem to go all the way to their belly button. Noses grow and then shrink, faces puff then lean, feet, you name it. It all grows and shrinks and in fast motion looks like a mad racoon in a gunny sack. Of, course as their physic changes their balance changes with their proportions, causing them to be uncoordinated. Sometimes the changes come so fast they never really get caught up to establishing balance. Somewhere in the late teens it all comes together and they become fine specimens of humanity. Ellie should tell her that.

Oh, Elly. There’s nothing ugly about Elizabeth’s face. It’s a nice face even with a frown on it.

Elly could say, “Oh, dear, are you saying I made a ugly daughter? I think I did not make a mistake and I did make a beautiful daughter.”

I wish more women would take that advice. A smile is more attractive than all the clown makeup.

That kind of problem is worse now. All of the hype about a certain look for women that reaches down to the girls Elizabeth’s age.
