1. “If you don’t make a mess”. Spoken like a mother who has never done Easter Egg colouring.
2. While I am impressed that we have one of the rare occasions where the colourist got Elizabeth’s hair colour correct, that same colourist apparently is unaware that all three of the Nichol’s kids are blonde and decided Christopher gets brown, Richard gets red, and Leah gets dark brown.
3. While Elly tells Elizabeth she can’t have friends in next year, she may not have noticed that Elizabeth is involved in 4 of the 5 fights shown.
My mother got sick of the whole coloring thing and would boil the eggs in onion skins so the would all turn brown. No one complained. I make deviled eggs myself.
We used to punch holes in the ends of raw eggs and blow out the whites and yolks, wash them and then color them with permanent markers. Too afraid of salmonella to try that with my kid.

I have never once colored Easter eggs. Easter was about Jesus, not about eggs and chocolate and flowers.
Ah well, I still got plenty of chocolate – shaped like a cross, of course!

It’s more fun when Mom sits in and teaches sharing and good behavior, instead of just letting them go on like spoiled brats. ED-JU-KATE them! ;-)

Should be, next year, no Richard in to color Easter eggs, since he seems to be causing most of the problems.

For some reason, my Mom made us do these projects in the Garage.
