It’s interesting how Elly’s description of him is not the same as the way the guy appeared a month ago and makes him seem worse than he actually was. Comparing her description to the drawing from a month ago:
greasy = I can’t tell from the drawing
unshaven = He had a chin beard, so he was not clean shaven; but the rest of his face did not appear to be unshaven
long hair = He did have long hair
leather jacket = He was wearing a brown, sweat shirt.
biker = He was driving a four-door family car
skull tattooed somewhere = He had no visible tattoos
I’m lost. I thought Ellie was there to contest the ticket. The Other Guy doesn’t have anything to do with that, at least not in the US. Is it that different in Canada?
If she got the ticket, why is he is court? He shouldn’t have to defend himself unless he was given a subpoena to be there. El’s argument is with the cop, not the other driver.

well, that’s quite a nicely dressed man Elly was describing (unless that’s the lawyer of Mr. Pervrett)

Really, El? Judging people so strongly based on their appearance? For shame.

Good (expensive) lawyers have a closet of suits the client can borrow for court.

Since El hasn’t been called yet I would suspect he is there on a different matter

The worst witness is an eye witness as Ellie proves

He is there to help her get off. It wasn’t his fault either. (Hey, it’s Giving Tuesday.)

The guy is obviously a “Pervrett”. I’ll bet his nickname is Perv.

Lynn’s Notes:
Gone was the long, ragged hair, the scrubby beard and the ratty clothing. The guy who ran into me had been transformed into a model citizen.
