I really don’t like her or this arc. I hope it’s over soon.

LOL, more great “artist shorthand”- not only does Ms. Underbite have a cig in her hand, but she’s got a Soap magazine, too! Classic shorthand for “this person is brain-dead”.

Family! It’s either loans or bail money. Thankfully no room for flakey boarders.

And here comes the excuses for why she can’t move on.

A friend lost his apartment, so we let him move in with us (it was just me & my husband at the time). We made a deal that his share of the rent would be his food stamps; he’d get groceries for all of us. He was to also look for a job and a new apartment. We helped out as much as we could; I’d leave the Want Ads from the paper with prospects circled. We found out later that he spent all day just sitting in our living room watching movies (we had quite the VHS collection), or on the front porch of our apartment building. Having no clue as to how it worked, we constantly asked him when he’d get his food stamps. We finally found out…about a week after he got them, went & bought snacks for himself, pocketed the change (which could be done back then) to buy cigarettes…and we only found out because one of our neighbors was also on & told us. We finally told him that he had to leave, as he was not living up to his end of the deal.

Fiona doesn’t feel good and there’s a newborn in the house? Call 911 and while she’s gone pack her stuff!

Fiona needs a good kick in her rear as she goes through the door.

John, buy her a bus ticket and send back to where ever she came from and don’t keep getting Hogswaggled.

People can only take advantage of you if you let them.

Poor John is overwhelmed as a receiver of excuses.

John is always a soft touch for a sob story.

At the very least, she would NOT be smoking in my house! (BTW, does ANYone smoke anymore?)

I read this comic daily and it never amazes me that people are shocked by the two parents. Their kids have more sense and more spine then either of them.

It makes me sick to see John sitting there with this – woman, in his house, and she’s smoking, cat on the table, and feeding John lies. What kind of person is he? How can he ignore his own family who wants her out of there? I’m sorry, but I don’t find this story line funny at all, even though Lynn said she does.

He needs to call other relatives who have had to put up with her nonsense and see how they handled it. Feeling better my butt! It’s a manipulation.

I see a Dear John letter coming.

Manipulative wench and a spineless dork. What a combo.

LOL! I am really enjoying the comments condemning Fiona and John as if they were real. Stay tuned people for John’s really creative solution to this problem and the unintended consequences in his social circle.

Even if Fiona HADN’T been sick. I could see her JUST about to leave & she comes down with something (or she slips & falls & the Pattersons get stuck with her for a longer amount of time )
