well, is it a good thing, the ABC’d gum didn’t get into Elizabeth’s hair?

“Does your chewing gum lose it’s flavor on the bedpost overnight?”

Chewing gum can be removed from the hair with peanut butter. I never had to resort to this, thank goodness.

Her hair seems to have been cut shorter sometime between when she fell asleep and when she found what happened to her gum.

I guess dad can lecture her about cavities later. Thumb first.

Just how much frikkin’ gum did she shove in her mouth??

The struggle is real!

Peanutbutter will help remove it. Yes! It really works.

Perhaps a lozenge is in order. It will dissolve once she falls asleep. I never had to deal with thumb sucking so I am at sea on this one.

My Dad was fierce about hating gum and never let any of us (including my Mom – it was his one authoritarian stance in marriage – pick your battles I suppose) so we grew up thinking of it as the forbidden fruit. By the time I was off on my own I eagerly tried it – Hubba Bubba was the suggested choice … a massive disappointment.

Hmmmmmm!!!! Could it be Elizabeth’s jealous of April???

Guessing I am the only one who thought it was Elly at first. At least Elizabeth was trying to keep herself from sucking her thumb.

Wear heavy gloves to bed, problem solved…
