The binder is getting revenge for being dumped in a disgusting locker. :P

I didn’t know binders disliked smelly shoes.

Getting bit by your Trapper Keeper/Binder… it was a real thing.

They don’t hurt that much.

First time, I can EVER remember in life or cartoon strip that anything as ever been said about a girl’s gym shoes—did they even have such a thing ????

As best as I recall, we had lockers in the gym for our gym kit. Shorts, shoes, and supporter were all kept there, not in our general hall lockers.

As opposed to Peppermint Patty (I think it was her?) whose binder bit her when she fell asleep on it.

I think my High School kept HazMat suits for cleaning out lockers at the end of the school year.

Yeah. I feel for you kid. Binder bitten is almost as painful as paper cuttin’.

If she had a Trapper Keeper, she wouldn’t have that problem.

I remember being bit by my binder. It was quite painful.

That’s really painful. I remember those days.

I just thought of something I kept in my locker at school and realized how much times have changed. Mind you, I went to boarding school – a preparatory seminary – my last two years of high school, so things were a lot more regimented and regulated. Still, I just remembered that I kept my .22 cal. rifle and boxes of ammunition in my school locker!

A group of us had talked the school into starting an Explorer’s Club rifle team at the school and even built an outdoor rifle range. If I remember I had not one, but two rifles in my locker. One was a fully modified competition target rifle and the other was a multi-shot, tube feed – bolt action plinker.

I can’t imagine any high school – public or private – allowing that now!

My Junior High l9cker partner used to steal the desserts out of my lunchbox. She stopped when I filled little candy bars with Tobasco sauce and chocolate Exlax.

My actual newspaper dropped this strip.

Elizabeth has work to do on discipline; (more pride in her personal appearance and a more organized locker). However, she has made academic progress. She has finally realized there are no Os in the word “stupid”.

Plus, I had a separate gym locker.
