Best valentine I received was the year when hubby and I gave each other the exact same ones.

I don’t need an occasion to do something nice for my wife any day is fine.

Lay it on, Michael. That has to last until Mother’s Day.

Hallmark has enough money. They don’t need mine.

Laugh it up, BOYS ! ! ! In a few short years, you’ll be ‘falling over’ one another to get to them and chocolates and flowere to give to that special female ! ! ! !

I met my husband online the day after his birthday .. which is February 15th :)

It isn’t so much the words, it’s the thought that someone got you a card.

When I began saving the Valentine cards from my only child, I had no idea that they, and memories of him, would end after 45 years and 5 months. Both are a blessing now.

Sometimes being sappy makes us happy. Happy Valentine’s Day all. Be patient with each other.

I think the division of the National Cartoonist Society that does Greeting Cards is not getting the love from Lynn Johnston today.

My husband died last month. This is my first “holiday” without him. Oh, what I would give for one more sappy card from him.

Well, Michael did to be nice to Elly.

And now she’s 87 and has to live with them. Cleaning out the house, they find that 60 year old card that she saved.

Valentine cards to parents will never not be weird.

I remember when this first came out. I thought this was pretty accurate because that’s how a lot of boys are when they are younger. I lost the comic over the years though.
