I can relate, I currently love on a construction site. And in Vietnam that means construction goes on 24 hours a day.

What is that large catlog that Ellly is consulting. I have vague memories of something like that in my past….

That brick wall is huge for the Patterson house. I wonder if they got confused and are doing construction at someone else’s house.

It’s amazing how annoying the sound of construction is, unless I’m doing the constructing.

I hate hearing the neighbor mowing his lawn, yet oddly if he does mine it’s music to my ears.

The framing looks accurate. There is a proper header over the window and bracing to keep the walls in place until the roof is added. I’m really not too sure what the guy on top of the ladder is nailing, though. There’s nothing up there to fasten down until the rafters get put into place. Also, that’s a dangerous place to lean a latter. The wall really isn’t all that stable until the rafters are attached.

Any sailor that’s been onboard a ship should know Ellie feels. When not underway (at sea), compressed air tools like knuckle busters and needle guns would be in use on metal surfaces throughout the ship chipping paint so it could be primed and painted. The Navy called it preservation (repainting). Those tools created an awful loud noise which carried far (remember that the ship is constructed of nearly all metal! Funny thing is that after a while you get used familiar noises like that.
