Don’t worry, she won’t read it

Oh no. I remember teachers who read the note to the class. Only it was never anything exciting. Just one girl asking another “Are we going to your house after school?”

This is getting worse and worse, I hope the teacher’s input helps!

I’m guessing that she’ll take the note, pocket it, and proceed with class. That’s what I usually did in that situation. If anyone wanted to ask for the note, they could do so after class.

And here I thought that it was the students that were to take notes in class. Not the teachers.

I was in seventh grade when the teacher caught me whispering to my friend, “We shouldn’t talk now” and I had to stand in front of the class for the remainder of Social Studies. I didn’t have to wear a dunce cap, though.

I suspect she will be kind about/do something positive with it, she is the cool teacher : )

All we ever passed in class were bobby pins shot by rubber bands, and the occasional spit wad

A wise teacher would never read that note to the class. A wiser one would destroy the note unread.

Why is our world cursed with inane, crass, inconsiderate, stupid ninnyhammers such as depicted here! Are we really deserving of such members of the human condition. Oh, and I won’t even go into the situation of the two meddlesome girl friends who believe their mission of intervention of someone else’s love life is justifiable! Sheesh!

I hope the teacher will have the tact to not read that note out loud.

Those kids must all keep getting held back. They have Miss Edwards as a teacher every year.

I doubt Miss Edwards would read the note out loud. She seems too cool for that. She would, however, recognize Candice’s handwriting and discuss this with her after class.

For people who don’t want to wait until the end of the week to find out, go to Lynn’s archives: Feb. 5, 1994.

Surely it’s for the best that now they text each other instead.

Miss Edwards is portrayed as the ultimate “good egg”,so she’ll probably shut up.

Note passing in class….gone along with The Model T Ford.

Well, at least Miss Edwards will make sure Duane doesn’t read it.

I like the second panel, she’s so horrified she’s hiding her face.
