What about, some of them are Bright, and hot. Really hot. Some of them shine brighter than others, then burn out too soon. They let others bask in their warmth. Some of them are too fiery, or if we get too close, they can burn us. OTHERS are as dense as dense can be, and just suck everything out of the environment a giant obese mass of consumption.

I’m intrigued at the idea of stars having bones.
