This is my favorite one about time and kids. I often reference it to other parents. Anymore if I tell my son he has to do something for X many minutes, he sets a timer on his Alexa so I don’t accidentally forget and make him do it longer.
My daughter did this! I told her we were going to see her grandparents tomorrow and she asked what that meant. I used the sleep explanation. She ran to her bed, flopped down, closed her eyes for a second, then hopped up and said, “Let’s go!”

even as teenagers, I know someone who always answered “how long” with “fifteen minutes” regardless of the real ETA.
