Now, as you can see, this entire string is dead. Aren't you glad we checked it out first? Andy: Roger, the TV just went out. Peter: About this being a learning opportunity... Roger: Oh, good-it's just the fuse.

Just the TV went out? Those lights would probably kill the lights too, as well as any other appliances or electrical hook-ups.
