Actually spinach has a lot less iron than commonly believed. There was a misplaced decimal point when they studied it so it ended marking 10 times more than what it acually had. Apart from that, if you want to fully absob the iron from vegetables, you should combine them with vitamin C rich food, which helps absorb the iron.
