Years ago I worked with a consultant who had a gig in Perth Australia. Since the earth is closer to the sun during their summer it is more intense and we think of Aussies as having a sun worship culture. The women he worked with were well tanned. They also had a strange desire for him to guess their age. Being a pretty smart guy he would subtract 10 years from the age he thought they looked. He was always within a year or two of their actual age.
For everyone debating tans: being out in the sun too long can kill you from cancer. Not being in the sun enough can kill you from vitamin D deficiency. I figure “everything in moderation” is probably your best bet.

You have to admit, tanned bodies do look healthier aswell as more handsome. Bummer about all this scary skin cancer!

Referring to Maverick and Top Gun? With no tech featured, it makes me think this comic was originally produced in 1986.

How long has it been since Steve’s last appearance in the strip? (And at least he shows up every now and then, unlike Denise…)

vitamin D is one thing, but you need sunlight (in moderation, aka small doses) for other things too.
